Rachana Banerjee was born on October 2, 1978 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India. She is an actress, known for Sooryavansham (1999), Sakal Sandhya (2006) and Swamir Deoa Sindur (2005). She has been married to Probal Basu since 2006. They have one child. She was previously married to Siddhant Mahapatra.
